You’d Think McCain Would Get It

For a guy who’s battled cancer more than once, John McCain’s health care plan doesn’t reflect a real concern or understanding for what cancer patients have to deal with during their treatments and post-treatment. Maybe it’s because McCain has always had health care provided by the government — first as a Navy pilot and later as a member of Congress, because he’s completely out-of-touch with the rest of us. Even if the average voter doesn’t get that his health plan is actually worse than the abysmal status quo, his answers during the second debate were telling enough. Whereas Obama whole-heartedly agreed that health care is a right, McCain thinks it’s a priviledge. Are you fucking kidding me, John McCain? Seriously? Doesn’t our Constitution guarantee us the right to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?” Why is it in your universe that an unborn fetus has more rights than a living, breathing, walking around, thinking, feeling human being who may have a dreadful disease? Fuck you, John McCain, if you think I don’t have the right to health care. Fuck you, John McCain, if you think my life is something to be traded on the open market.
