Went to the Doctor Today

I went back to Dr. Bresalier today for another follow-up. Have to see him once a month. I checked-out alright. As long as there are no new problems or evidence that the cancer has returned, these visits are mostly a formality. Until I get my health insurance situation squared away, he’s only charging me $25 a visit. His practice doesn’t accept my medicaid. Apparently, they only accept mediaid administered through certain HMOs. The state is now forcing me to sign-up for one of these HMOs. It’s all very confusing to me. I’m trying to find one among the choices available that all of my doctors accept. I’m not so much concerned about my family doctor, because I want to change primary care physicians anyway. Unfortunately, I also have to see 3 different specialists on a regular basis and also go for frequent dental exams and need a plan that covers all that.
