Making my son concentrate on college applications during his fun-filled senior year
Guest post written by Melanie Norwin
My son has always been very social. It’s caused some problems in him getting all of his school work done at times. But I told him that he better start to find a balance to it if he expects to make it through more than one semester at college. As soon as I told him that I think that he realized I was right and decided to adjust his studying habits as a result.
I’m really proud of him, but know that he needs to get on the ball for college applications. I looked online to see if I could find some tips for him about how to write his college admissions essays to help him get motivated. While I was looking that up, I ran across some walmart coupons and info on debt settlement and decided to show it to my husband. I’ve been thinking about that anyway.
I did find some really great tips on writing essays and that finally got my son going on writing those essays. I think that he’s done a great job so far.
