Help, I Can’t Lose Weight
Yesterday, at the gym, a friend of mine commented that he thought I had lost weight (I’ve formed a kind of fitness alliance with him as we both joined the gym as a response to our health-related problems). I pointed out to him that I had not. I haven’t lost an ounce in over a year. In fact, I gained fifteen pound in late 2010 and have stayed at that weight since. No matter how much I workout, I cannot seem to get my beach body. It’s true, and something has got to change.
I think I’m going to have to change up my workout. Maybe do a 90 day review to see if I’m getting good results. I’ll probably have to switch over to some extreme body workout. Start training like a Navy Seal or something. Seriously, my workout yesterday wasn’t exactly light, but it wasn’t a long workout and I still managed to burn a couple thousand calories. By my calculations I should have lost about three pounds last week alone. But, no, nothing — I didn’t lose any weight at all.
