Diary of a Mad Editor

Let’s see: A flood, an earthquake and now a hurricane (and most likely more flooding). Yes, last week, heavy rains tore through my neck of the woods. Roads, bridges, etc. were closed, washed out and otherwise damaged. My basement got flooded. Had to drive through the rain and muck to buy a new pump. The other day, I thought the roof was going to collapse on top of me on account of the earthquake. Hurricane Irene is barreling up the coast as I write this.  Even I survive most of the damage, this well-water is probably fucked. Probably need one of those reverse osmosis filters.
