Télés is French for TV

Spike Lee and company are getting paid 32 million Euros for French TV rights to a movie that didn’t  even make  earn that much at the box office when it played in theaters. That’s right. Miracle at Santa Anna made about $10 million when it was first released in 2008. Nonetheless, a French court decided that the International distributor of the film, Lee and author James McBride would share in the jackpot for the rights to air it on French TV

(Excuse me, télés).

Gotta love those Frenchies. What possessed them to overpay for a movie that no one cares about is beyond me.
