Bad Weather, Bad Attitude

by John Erianne on September 11, 2009

Got my latest blood results back. Mixed results. Platelets still low, but level are a little bit higher than they were six months ago. TSH level back into “normal” territory. But, my liver enzymes are higher. The long and short of it is, I really need to lose a lot of weight. Anybody know of a good fat burning technique? Uh, nevermind. Between the blood results and the weather and the fact that I only got about three hours sleep last night, I started my day in a rather bad mood. Probably wasn’t the best time to read submissions, but my inbox was overflowing with them and I really had to get caught up. In truth, I was only able to get through 25 submissions before my will and my eyesight gave out. Along the way, I accepted a couple and read a lot of crap — material that seem to get worse as I went along. But I’ve mellowed, I guess because I didn’t let my bad attitude affect my judgment. I’m actually pleased with myself. I even finished a couple more pages on the new 13th Warrior Review. And, hey, I think it even stopped raining. Things are looking up.
