You Gotta Be Fuckin’ Kiddin’ Me, Pt. 2

Yet another “celebrity” has scored a book deal. Myspace tramp, Tila Tequila has just scored a book deal. ????? I’m still trying to figure out what this chick is even famous for. I know she has about a billion friends on MySpace, and she evidently has her own reality show this year but . . . are you shitting me? How does she rate a book deal?

And while I’m on the subject . . . know who else just put out a book? Former UFC champ, Tito Ortiz. Yeah, I caught a glimpse at that one in Walmart the other day. I couldn’t help but pick it up and skim through it. What fucking tripe! Here’s a guy who’s not very bright and not very interesting. His own claim to fame is that he used to be a champ in Mixed Martial Arts fighting and is currently banging porn queen Jenna Jameson (who also put out a book a while back). How does that qualify him to write a book? Sure, he has name recognition and I’m sure his fans will want to read his book just because they are fans, but what happened to publishing good books because they were good? When did writing ability become a liability? It sickens me that some half-wit retard can get a book published with little or no effort just because he is famous while decent, hard-working writers are often shunned by the publishing industry.
